This movie came out in 1990 and it was an instant success as their first live-action feature film. It followed this band of Mutant Turtles that each had their own, unique personalities and they were bound to help save New York City from a troublesome gang known as the Foot Clan. It even had two sequels and yet nothing compared to this first release. This is how we will always remember them and these are the people who supplied their voices:
1. Leonardo – Brian Tochi.
He provided the voice behind this turtle with the blue mask. However, the suit was worn by David Forman who was a stuntman. Tochi also played in the classic movie, ‘Revenge of the Nerds’. Now, he still does a lot of voice acting including ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’.

He was the rowdy turtle of the bunch voice by this guy. He also played on some episodes of ‘The Brady Bunch’. He went on to lend his voice to the animated series ‘Doc McStuffins’.

This guy was already really popular in the movies including ‘The Lost Boys’ and ‘Dream a Little Dream’. He then went on several reality TV shows including ‘Dancing on Ice’ and ‘The Two Coreys’.

He was the only person to do the voice AND wear the costume! He also played a recurring role on a Showtime series ‘Ray Donovan’.
Image Source5. April O’Neil – Judith Hoag.
She was the reporter who worked with the turtles. She went on to star in the ABC drama ‘Nashville’.
Image Source6. Casey Jones – Elias Koteas.
He was friend with the Turtles and helped them with the Foot Clan. He played in movies such as ‘Let Me In’ ‘Shutter Island’ and ‘Now You See Me’.

The leader of their rival gang. He also appeared in the soap opera ‘As the World Turns’.
Image Source8. Head Thug – Sam Rockwell.
This was one of his earlier roles in his career and he was the leader of a group of thugs. He other films include ‘The Way, Way Back’ and ‘Seven Phychopaths’.
