These Celebrity Kids Look Exactly Like Their Famous Parents

Hollywood is full of gorgeous celebrities and gorgeous couples. And whilst the looks of even the most beautiful celebs fade over time, they can pass a torch over to their offspring, children that often look so much like their parents that seeing them is like taking a trip back in time.

We’ve put together a list of celebrity kids who look exactly like their famous parents – see if you can tell the difference!

20. Scott Eastwood and Clint Eastwood

Clint Eastwood rose to fame in the 60s for his gravitas, grimace and his patented squint; not only did he become almost synonymous with the so-called ‘Spaghetti Western,’ but he later moved into directing Oscar-winning films of his own with the likes of 1992s Unforgiven. Truly, Eastwood is a Hollywood legend.

It’s little surprise, then, that son Scott has entered the movie business himself. With his rugged looks and Eastwood brow, Scott first starred in his father’s films, such as Gran Torino, before becoming his own man in 2016’s Suicide Squad and the Fast and the Furious franchise.

19. Maya Hawke and Uma Thurman

Perhaps best known for her personal and professional relationship with belligerent director Quentin Tarantino, Uma Thurman broke through with films like Pulp Fiction and the Kill Bill duology. While her career would falter with the role of Poison Ivy in 1997’s infamous Batman & Robin, the next year would see her marry fellow Hollywood enigma Ethan Hawke, with whom she has two children.

Maya Hawke, the eldest, has followed her parents into the limelight, with a breakout role in the most recent BBC adaptation of Little Women. However, there’s little doubt she’s now best known for starring as Robin Buckley in Stranger Things, looking uncannily like her mother did in the 80s!

18. O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Ice Cube

O’Shea Jackson Sr., better known as Ice Cube, began his career as part of West Coast rap supergroup N.W.A. alongside Dr. Dre before embarking on a solo career that cemented his status as a legend of hip hop. Not only that, but Cube soon turned his attention to the silver screen with a starring role in 1991’s Boyz n the Hood. In the years since, he has starred in the Jump Street movies and executive produced 2015’s Straight Outta Compton – his career has come full circle.

O’Shea Jackson Jr, sometimes known as OMG, is so alike his father that sometimes it’s hard to believe they aren’t the same person. Featuring on some of his dad’s tracks, as well as playing Jackson Sr in Straight Outta Compton, Jackson Jr’s acting career has gone from strength to strength in recent years. In 2022, he starred in the Disney+ Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi.

17. Wyatt Russell and Kurt Russell

Kurt Russell has always kept his family close. That much is obvious in the 1987 Russell-Hawn comedy romp Overboard, when the whole family was present on set. As a stepfather to Kate Hudson, the Escape from New York star has gone above and beyond. But when it comes to his son with Goldie Hawn, Wyatt, it’s clear whose genes are at the fore.

Wyatt Russell wasn’t initially cut out for the movies – instead, he pursued ice hockey as a goaltender. But when he was forced into early retirement due to injury, his illustrious parentage afforded him an impressive fallback career. In 2021, Wyatt Russell garnered plaudits and fame as John Walker, Steve Rogers’ Captain America stand-in, in Marvel’s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Goldie Hawn has now been with Kurt Russell for 36 years, but her daughter Kate Hudson is actually from her previous marriage to actor, comedian and musician Bill Hudson.

Despite them not being related by blood, Kate Hudson is said to consider Kurt Russell her father. She is a Golden Globe-winning actress, and now has three children of her own.

15. Ava Phillippe and Reese Witherspoon

Her mum won an Academy Award for her performance in Walk the Line, and Reese Witherspoon’s daughter with Ryan Phillippe looks exactly like her talented mother when she was younger.

Ava Phillippe is now 19 years old, and unsurprisingly is a big star on Instagram, recently posting a photo of her alongside her boyfriend, who many people think looks exactly like her father!

14. Suri Cruise and Tom Cruise

The daughter of Tom Cruise and Dawson’s Creek star Katie Holmes, the teenage Suri Cruise is, unfortunately, best known for being a sticking point in her father’s complicated relationship with the Church of Scientology. In fact, it’s rumoured that the Mission: Impossible star’s recent silence on religious matters is due to an ultimatum issued by Holmes – namely, that he needs to renounce Scientology if he wants a relationship with his child.

Tom and Suri were pictured having dinner together in 2022, which suggests Cruise might at long last be prioritising his family over the alleged cult.

13. Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Brad Pitt

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have long been considered two of the most beautiful people in the movie business, with Pitt’s blonde hair and Jolie’s steely eyes making the pair instantly recognisable. It’s remarkable, then, that daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has inherited both of these traits; but for our money, it’s her father to whom she bears the more striking resemblance.

Shiloh has already taken her first steps into the acting world, voicing a character in Kung Fu Panda 3, and we suspect it won’t be long before she follows in her parent’s footsteps and gets her very own starring role.

12. Angelina Jolie and Jon Voight

Nowadays, Angelina Jolie is famous for her own career – including roles as Lara Croft and Maleficent – and a personal life that included a tabloid-busting marriage to Brad Pitt. So it’s easy to forget that Jolie is herself the daughter of Hollywood veteran Jon Voight, who hit the height of his fame in the late 60s and early 70s with Midnight Cowboy and Deliverance.

Jolie and Voight’s relationship has historically been fraught. After Voight separated from Marcheline Bertrand, Jolie and her siblings lived with her mother on a modest income. Jolie was teased at acting school for her frailty and geeky braces, and at one point wanted to quit acting altogether in favour of becoming a funeral director. It wouldn’t be until 2001, with Jolie’s starring role in Tomb Raider, that she would repair relations with Voight enough to act alongside him.

11. Mamie Gummer and Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep’s daughter Mamie Gummer, now 36 years of age, is now an established actress in her own right, starring in a number of TV shows including The Good Wife.

Gummer became engaged to actor Mehar Sethi in 2018, and she gave birth to their son in February 2019. And she makes it onto our list by virtue of her looking exactly like her mum did when she was her age!

10. Charlie McDowell and Malcolm McDowell

Malcolm McDowell is best known for his penchant for playing villainous and controversial characters, from Alex DeLarge in A Clockwork Orange to the title character of Caligula. In 1975, McDowell married actress and publicist Margot Bennett, and the pair had two children together: Lilly and Charlie McDowell.

Charlie McDowell followed in his father’s footsteps and ended up in Hollywood: directing his first feature film in 2014. Since then, he has directed episodes of everything from On Becoming a God in Central Florida and Dear White People, and has even had a star-studded love life, dating both Emilia Clarke and Lily Collins.

9. Lily-Rose Depp and Johnny Depp

Lily-Rose Depp was born in 1999 to Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, making her the daughter of not just one celebrity, but two. Despite still being in the early stages of her career, Lily-Rose has managed to follow in the footsteps of both her mother and father, by alternating acting jobs and modelling jobs.

As a model, she has graced the covers of numerous magazines and was even chosen to be Chanel’s central brand ambassador in 2015. In 2016, she even became the face of the iconic fragrance Chanel no.5, L’Eau. The younger Depp’s film career started at around the same time, beginning with a cameo appearance in the Kevin Smith horror-comedy Tusk, and growing into starring roles in films like The Dancer and Planetarium.

8. Dhani Harrison and George Harrison

George Harrison might still be known as “the quiet Beatle” amongst casual fans, but his career was actually decades-long and storied, spanning numerous critically-acclaimed solo records, a film production and distribution company and extensive charity work. So it’s not surprising that his son Dhani Harrison also turned out to be hugely driven and ambitious.

Dhani began his own music career by assisting with his father’s final album, Brainwashed, during production, and even completing it under the supervision of ELO’s Jeff Lynne after his father’s untimely death. Since then, he has released several albums and even worked professionally as a composer on movies like Beautiful Creatures and Learning to Drive.

7. Alexander Skarsgard and Stellan Skarsgard

Actor Stellan Skarsgard has had an incredibly varied career, so much so that you could just as easily recognise him from Mamma-Mia and Pirates of the Caribbean as you could from The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and Chernobyl. Since 1975 he has had two marriages and eight children, four of which went into acting.

Alexander is the oldest of Skarsgard’s children, and so he has had the longest time to establish his own acting career. Since taking on his first adult acting role in 2001, when he appeared in the comedy Zoolander, Alexander has appeared in numerous projects and has earned a reputation as a heartthrob, thanks mostly to his starring role in the vampire drama series True Blood.

6. Cruz Beckham and Victoria Beckham

From Posh Spice to footballer’s wife to reality television superstar, Victoria Beckham has had an unusual career trajectory. In 1999, she tied the knot with footballer David Beckham in a private ceremony that was the biggest thing to happen to the tabloids that year, and she has had four children with her footballer hubby.

Cruz is Beckham’s second youngest child, and he was born in 2005. Though he isn’t the social media megastar that Brookyln is, he released a Christmas single in 2016, and made his modelling debut in 2022 with a magazine spread in i-D that saw him sporting pink hair.

5. Jack Quaid and Dennis Quaid

Across his decades-long career, Dennis Quaid has managed to become just as well known for his comedic performances as his dramatic ones, starring in such divergent projects as 1998’s The Parent Trap and The Right Stuff. He’s been married four times and has three children, the oldest of which is Jack Quaid.

Jack Quaid has been acting ever since 2012, when he appeared in the teen dystopian smash hit The Hunger Games, but his breakout role came in 2019, when he starred in The Boys. The Boys is a superhero series that has a large central cast of heroes and villains, that just concluded its third season.

4. Gabriel Day-Lewis and Daniel Day-Lewis

The undisputed master of method acting, Daniel Day-Lewis is one of the preeminent actors of his generation, with a filmography that features such huge and beloved titles as The Age of Innocence and There Will Be Blood. Day-Lewis has had two serious relationships since beginning his career, and he had three children during this time.

Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis is Daniel Day-Lewis’ oldest son, born in 1995. He has cultivated a twin career in both modelling and acting, and is represented by IMG Models. His breakout acting role came earlier this year, when he was given the featured role of The Kid in Terror on the Prairie.

3. Rafferty Law and Jude Law

English actor Jude Law’s film career speaks for itself. With two Tony Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, a British Academy Film Award and two Oscar nominations. In addition to a prolific acting career, Law has also had a pretty prolific personal life, and has had six children to four different women.

Rafferty Law (or just Raff Law) was born to Jude Law and Sadie Frost in 1996, and began his acting career in 2010 when he was just 14 years old. He first appeared in Repo Men as Young Remy, and has since starred in several short films. He has also dabbled in modelling, walking in the 2019 Dolce & Gabbana runway show.

2. Jack Ramsey and Gordon Ramsey

Celebrity chef and infamously hot-tempered reality star Gordon Ramsey actually has a pretty wholesome personal life. He’s been married to his spouse Tana Hutchenson in 1996, and the pair have five children together. Jack Ramsey is the twin brother of Holly Anna Ramsey, both of whom were born on New Year’s Day, 2000.

Being born as a twin on the first day of the new millennium isn’t the only cool thing about Jack Ramsey. He’s also joined the Royal Marines, an achievement which Gordon Ramsey said made him “the proudest parent” in the world.

1. Zoe Kravitz and Lisa Bonet

Ever since she won over the hearts of America as Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show, Lisa Bonet has had a selective but still acclaimed acting career, appearing in projects like High Fidelity and Life on Mars. In 1987, she married legendary rockstar Lenny Kravitz, and gave birth to their daughter Zoe Kravitz in 1988.

Zoe Kravitz has had an even more prolific acting career than her mother, starring in everything from Big Little Lies to The Batman, as well as cultivating an incredibly impressive modelling portfolio. Kravitz is the face of Yves Saint Laurent, and has starred in campaigns for Tiffany & Co., Vera Wang, Balenciaga and Calvin Klein.
