Three Men and a Baby was a big hit in the mid-80s, so it was only a matter of time before they released a sequel, and sure enough Three Men and a Little Lady followed in 1990. Whilst it wasn’t quite as successful as its predecessor, it certainly had its charm and its funny moments.

28 years is a long time, though, so let’s take a look at the cast from Three Men and a Little Lady then, and what they look like now – you may be surprised by how much, or how little, they have changed!

Peter – Tom Selleck

Tom Selleck was a huge name in the 80s and 90s, and we’re pleased to say that he has continued to act since then!

Never being far from our screens, Selleck has in the years since appeared in the likes of Friends, Boston Legal and Blue Bloods.

Michael – Steve Guttenberg

Guttenberg was one of Hollywood’s go-to men in the 80s if they had a comedy and they wanted it to be a sure-fire hit at the box office – this man was box office gold!

Guttenberg has continued to act since, but has never been able to recreate the same kind of success he had during those years.

Jack – Ted Danson

In the 80s and 90s, Ted Danson was synonymous with the TV show Cheers, and so was a massive addition to the cast of Three Men and a Baby and Three Men and a Little Lady alike.

Danson has continued to have a very successful TV career, appearing in the likes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Good Place.

Sylvia – Nancy Travis

Nancy Travis was very well cast as Sylvia, Mary’s mum, and she has gone on to have a very successful acting career.

On the small screen, Travis has appeared in the likes of The Bill Engvall Show, Mr Mercedes and Last Man Standing.

Miss Lomax – Fiona Shaw

A talented Irish actress who has gone on to star in dozens of big productions on both the big and small screen, Fiona Shaw is recognised most now for playing Harry Potter’s horrible Aunt Petunia in the Harry Potter movies.

Shaw has also appeared in the likes of Empire, True Blood and Killing Eve, proving herself a very versatile actress.

Mary – Robin Weisman

It seemed like Three Men and a Little Lady could be the project to kick-start a very successful career for the young Robin Weisman, but following this she only starred in a couple of other projects – Thunder in Paradise and the TV movie Keys.

Since then Weisman has retired from acting and hasn’t reappeared on screen since! Hope you’re doing well, Robin.
