The He-man cartoon wouldn’t have existed without the ‘Masters of the Universe’ toyline, which was originally created by Mattel in 1981, two years before it would come to our TV screens.

I’m sure like us the toys were as important to you as the cartoon, allowing us to continue our adventures long after our parents had turned off the television.

Below are a selection of ‘Masters of the Universe’ toys from 1982 and ‘Princess of Power’ toys from 1985, and we want to know how many of them you can name!
