In certain companies, including major establishments such as Google and Huffington Post (which recently installed nap rooms in its offices), the daytime nap is an idea that’s catching on.

Any bosses curious about this new workplace trend might want to consider introducing reclining specialised napping chairs to the office.

The Lay Flat Office Chair, which costs $600 apiece (there are cheaper versions on Amazon), converts from a standing office chair to an ‘office bed’ where you sit.

Sleep expert Sara C Mednick, PhD, has argued in favour, saying that office workers “can get incredible benefits from 15 to 20 minutes of napping.
