This was a coming of age movie in 1995 that took these young girls through a series of bittersweet lessons which ultimately transforms them. It also propelled us into the future to glimpse at the older version of these girls who have still remained friends after all of those years.
Their adult counterparts were Demi Moore, Rosie O’Donnell, Rita Wilson, and Melanie Griffith.

Roberta (Christina Ricci – Rosie O’Donnell).
She was already well known when she began this film. Since then she has continued to be a busy actress.

She has been a co host on The View and was most recently seen on ABC Family’s The Fosters.
Chrissy (Ashleigh Aston Moore – Rita Wilson).
No update available for this character because Ashleigh quit acting two years after filming this movie and then she sadly died in 2007 at the age of 26.

Teeny (Thora Birch – Melanie Griffith).
She was a popular actress at the time and was later in a critically acclaimed role as Jane in American Beauty.

She is an inspiration for her daughter who is also an actress who starred in Fifty Shades of Grey.
