This show was a huge success when it came out and it has also lasted the test of time by becoming a holiday classic! Christmas is the time of year when families get together and even travel places together. So, when this family plans a vacation and leaves for the airport, they don’t seem to notice that they accidentally left one of the kids behind! That’s when this story takes a turn to the funny bone because it centers around young Kevin, home alone, at Christmas time. Also, there are a couple of thieves that try to break into his home because they believe that it is empty over the holidays. Needless to say, this kid defended his home while his family struggles to get back to make sure that he is alright. After all of these years, it’s time to take a look back at this family and see what they are up to now:

1. Kevin McAllister – Macaulay Culkin.

This kid was the star of the show and he left everyone wanted more from him! During his youth, he starred in films such as ‘My Girl, The Good Son’ and ‘Richie Rich’. As he got older, he stayed busy doing some other, darker films and also did some voice over work for ‘Robot Chicken’. These days, he focuses on his music and his art collective.

2. Harry – Joe Pesci.

This guy is just plain funny and yet he lent himself in this film to become completely at the mercy of this kid as he defended his home. Joe went on to star in plenty of films such as ‘My Cousin Vinny, Casino’ and ‘Lethal Weapon 4’. He has since backed off from acting for a while, until his pal, Robert De Niro, invited him to do a cameo in ‘The Good Shepherd’.

3. Marv – Daniel Stern.

This guy was the other robber who paired up with his buddy to take what he could from this house. Little did he know that he was going to get beat by a kid! He was also the narrator of ‘The Wonder Years’ and played in ‘Little Monsters’. Since then, he went on to be in ‘City Slickers, Bushwhacked, Very Bad Things’ and ‘Whip It, to name a few.

4. Peter McAllister – John Heard.

This was the father of Kevin who seemed to have it all together until he realizes that he must return home for his son that he accidentally left behind. Heard has been in many movies including, ‘Pelican Brief, Pollock’ and ‘White Chicks’. He’s also been on TV shows which include ‘Battlestar Galactica, Southland’ and Entourage’.

5. Kate McAllister – Catherine O’Hara.

She Kevin’s mom and is the first to notice that he is missing. Now, she goes on an epic quest to get back before it’s too late. She also starred in ‘Beetlejuice’ and has lent her voice to the animated series, ‘Glenn Martin DDS.’

6. Buzz – Devin Ratray.

This was Kevin’s brother who was not very nice to him. He also had a role in the movie, ‘Little Monsters’. Since then he has appeared in lots of movies including, ‘ The Prince and Me’ and ‘Surrogates’.

7. Jeff – Mike Maronna.

This was Mike’s acting debut as Kevin’s brother. He went on to star in Nickelodeon’s, ‘The Adventures of Pete and Pete’. Since then he followed through with his education and has worked behind the scenes on films like, ‘Runner Runner, Men in Black 3’ and ‘The Sitter’.

8. Megan – Hillary Wolf.

Another one of Kevin’s siblings in this movie (no wonder he was left behind!). She also appeared in the movie, ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry. . . They Get Even.’ Since then, she’s become a world judo champion who represented the United States at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics. Now, she owns Wolf Judo Academy in Colorado Springs.

9. Fuller – Kieran Culkin.

Real life little brother, Kieran, had a role in this film as well as his big brother. He went on to play in ‘She’s All That, Igby Goes Down’ and ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.’.
