These cartoons were a nice change from the childish plots of most cartoons. Instead, these gave us a sense of adventure and we were thrilled to have plenty of action shows to choose from. Although, it was hard to pick a favorite because they were all so good. Now, we didn’t have to only dream about having these kinds of powers because we got to live them vicariously through these cartoons. Here are a bunch of action cartoons that you are sure to remember.


1. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.

He would hold the Sword of Power high above his head and yell, “By The Power of Grayskull!” before he transformed into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe.

They had their own famous cry, “Thundercats Thundercats HOOOO!” They were the last survivors of their home planet.
