There have been a lot of celebrities that have left the limelight for a normal job. The problem is, we don’t know about it because to us, they have simply disappeared. However, we have a list of our favorites that you probably didn’t even know who have moved on to normal jobs since their high profile days. Let’s see who they are and where they ended up now:

1. Tom Selleck broke into the Avocado business.

We remember him from his role as Magnum on TV during the 80s and 90s. Now, he has a 20-acre avocado farm on his secluded 63-acre ranch.

He even went so far as to steal water during the California drought over the years in order to keep his precious avocados alive.

He was subsequently fined $21,00 and even said that he doesn’t eat the avocados at all.

He merely sells them. According to him, “Honestly, they make me gag.” He also admits,  “It’s hard to make a living, let alone a profit.” Perhaps he should reconsider his acting career again.

2. John Carpenter ‘Master of Horror’ filmmaker plays in a band!

He is well-known for making ‘Halloween’ and ‘The Thing’. Since then, he has even turned to being a hardcore gamer but his real passion is being a musician.

Although, he has always been involved in scoring his own movies but has since become a full time musician with the help of his grandson via webcam.

He has released two albums and even went on tour in 2016.

3. Rick Moranis is a singer.

He played in plenty of memorable movies including ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ ‘Honey, I Shrunk The Kids’ ‘Ghostbusters’ and ‘Spaceballs’.

He left behind his movie career in 1997 to care for his children full time after losing his wife to breast cancer. After they grew up, he felt alone and detached.

He thought about dating again but was against dating websites, making this joke, “What picture would I use? The guy from Ghostbusters?”

Now, he mostly spends his time indoors and making music of all kinds. He has released a few albums including ‘The Agoraphobic Cowboy ‘ in 2005 where does a spot-on impression of a fast-talking country singer.
