Back in the early 90s, we were introduced to this animated variety show full of hilarious short skits and a large cast of wacky characters. Each mini show featured a different set of characters who thoroughly entertained us with great music, catchphrases and even a dash of some adult humor to draw in the parents as well.
This amazing animated series was first introduced to us in 1993 and was produced by Steven Spielberg and created by Ton Ruegger in association with Warner Bro. Animation.
However, what impressed us the most is the amount of thought and creativity that went into it for the sole purpose of entertainment. We were thankful that a program of this caliber was directed towards a mostly young audience and yet was sophisticated enough to encourage an older audience to be fans as well. It began in 1993 on ’Fox Kids’ and lasted until 1995 and then reappeared in 1995 to 1998 on ‘The WB‘.
The show was a combination of wacky characters, including the Warner Brothers Wakko, Yakko and sister Dot.
However, the problem with watching it on TV back then was that we had to wait to see each episode. Fortunately, the great thing about Netflix is that now, you never have to wait to watch and that is what ‘binge watching’ is all about! Knowing this, you can set aside an entire weekend to become reacquainted with this show and even share it with someone new. That’s another thing that I love about Netflix and that is, finding a show to share with someone who never knew that it even existed!
So, if you’re a fan of this show, you are going to have a hard time getting away from Netflix anytime soon because you have a whole 99 episodes to check out! What are you waiting for?
