TV has certainly changed since the good old days because back then, we had to tolerated whatever was given us because we had very few choices. Now, we have plenty of choices and these are the things that you will never see again. Mostly, this is a good thing because these were very inconvenient and/or simply outdated. See for yourself:

1. The BBC Turning off.

Yes, there was a time when there wasn’t enough programming to fill up our stations 24 hours a day.

We even had plenty of malfunctions with our stations and they often had to show us this message to let us know that they were having some difficulties.

3. Ceefax and Teletext.

This was where you could check the weather, play games or book your holiday trips. This was like the first internet and it stuck around until 2012!

4. Extended News.

This often interrupted your regularly scheduled programming and when it resumed, you ended up missing a bunch of it.

There were plenty of times when people are just forced to watch this instead of any shows.
